Deaf Youth Canada was founded in 2008 by a group of Deaf Canadians between the ages of 18 - 30 at the Canadian Deaf Youth Leadership Camp in Sylvan Lake, Alberta.

We are an organization serving Deaf Canadians between the ages of 18 - 30 regarding issues in education, unemployment, the preservation of the ASL and LSQ languages, Deaf culture and history. A key solution to those issues lies in the potentional of our Canadian Deaf youth.

DYC was established BY youth! It's FOR youth! It's all ABOUT youth!
